Times are measured from the time when the race commences. Other classes: Places are determined based on net times from the point when the race commences. (2) Athletes are obliged to wear helmets and gloves. (3) As a lead vehicle and rear vehicle will be driving ahead of and behind the group, respectively, during the descent, please move safely in accordance with the instructions of race marshals. (4) Inspections of racing bicycles will not take place. Each athlete is responsible for making sure that the condition of his or her bicycle is in good order as of the day of the event. (5) Athletes are asked to participate after removing all parts, including lights, baskets, mirrors, and kickstands, that pose a high risk of danger should contact or a fall occur.
Eligibility To participate, you must be in junior high school or older and a healthy male or female person confident in your ability to complete the race on this course within the competitive time frame allotted. Persons whom organizers anticipate may impede the running of the event may be prevented from participating. An application form will be sent by e-mail. qYour understanding and cooperation with regard to the following points is requested:r Please refrain as much as possible from engaging in trial runs along the Fuji Subaru Line for the purpose of training prior to the event. As a mountainous area is being used for the course, be aware that the weather is liable to change and that weather conditions may vary greatly between the base and upper levels of the mountain. The Executive Committee will determine whether the event can be held or not early in the morning on the day of the competition.
